From Homeless To Uk’s Largest Property Landlord
Kevin Green is one of the UK’s largest private sector property landlords. The entrepreneurial owner of 27 businesses, including a registered building society, Green is a self-made millionaire whose expertise extends to precious metals, as well as property investment.
Few would have said, back in 1988, that Green would go on to coach others in how to grow their wealth and happiness. After running away from home as a teenager, the Welshman was homeless for several months before finding work as a dairy manager. It was then that his entrepreneurial streak came to the fore. Within two years, he was in charge of three farms. His next step was a Nuffield rural leaders scholarship, which he used to study the attitudes and personalities of achievers in business, engaging Richard Branson to mentor him after repeatedly visiting the entrepreneur’s home until Branson was in.
Over the near-30 years since, Green has gone from being homeless to owning 27 businesses, significant stocks of gold and silver bullion and one of the largest property portfolios in the UK, reportedly worth $144 million.
Green attributes his success to hard work and clear strategies. His determination to overcome the odds and succeed is at the heart of all of his endeavours. That commitment saw him avoid alcohol and only sleep for four or five hours per night during the first year of this business. The same determination led him to write his best-selling lifestyle book, The Rich Rules. Green now offers training to others who want to follow in his footsteps and achieve wealth and happiness of their own.
Part of Green’s success has been his ability to respond to rapidly changing market conditions, while never losing sight of his strategies and systems. The evolution of technology, combined with political and economic factors, has meant that the business world has changed massively in the course of a single generation. Kevin Green shows those individuals with the drive and ambition to succeed how to channel their work to respond to the modern business world’s myriad opportunities.
Green’s early experience of homelessness has instilled a strong sense of civic duty within him. He is known for using his success to empower others, and has been instrumental in promoting entrepreneurship in a wide range of situations, from primary schools upward. He is proud to work as a UK ambassador to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants incredible wishes to children suffering from life threatening illnesses.
In sharing the secrets of his success, Green has acted as a business and entrepreneurship advisor to the government, as well as starring in popular TV series “The Secret Millionaire.” Green also contributes regularly to news and current affairs programmes and was the main international trainer for Rich Dad Education for eight years.
With a passion for empowering others, Kevin Green is determined that his success can be replicated by all those with the drive to achieve. He firmly believes that, if you seek business advice from those who have gone before and push yourself every day to use that knowledge, anyone can find wealth and happiness, no matter what their starting point.
Green himself is the ultimate example of this and regularly shares details of his experiences and strategies with those who want to follow in his footsteps. The next opportunity to train with Kevin Green will be on Sunday, 1st March in Birmingham. Click here as Free tickets are available for those who book early enough.
